A common mat-forming species valued for high drought tolerance, durability and pollinators. Blooming May through June and into July. Usually by the end of July they are dried but still colorful. White to cream/yellow to pink or orange
One the best species for various pollinators; it has a large range and is recognized by countless bees and butterflies, almost always having a Blue species around. Generally u bothered by deer and other browsers.
Easy to to care for once in the ground but does not like root disturbance. Excels at erosion control and weed suppression
