This Pack is for communities on the East edge of the GSL that either border wetlands now or were once annual floodplains. Perfect for anyone out of the foothills from Corrine to Rose Park.

Bottomlands are typically characterized as low‑lying areas often fertile due to periodic inundation or persistently waterlogged soils, that are adjacent to bodies of water. Bottomlands form in areas where water naturally spreads out during flooding or overflow and are not usually associated with lakes.

Often having alluvial soils rich in sediment and nutrients that support diverse ecosystems but are also productive farmland. These areas act as wetlands or floodplains that filter water, store floodwaters, and provide habitat for native wildlife.
