Commonly found on rocky, open sunny hillsaround 7,500 ft. growing with, Eriogonum, Astragalus, Opuntia, and Fritillaria around oak covered foothills. Fragrant and edible with many different uses we recommend looking into.
Excellent early season pollinator plant. Would look great in most rock gardens.

Germination: 90 day cold-moist(34-37°) stratification in perlite or sand, or sow outside in the Fall to early Winter. May take two years to germinate.
